Laura enjoys helping writers see through their ambition to be published authors. She is a whiz at editorial evaluations, which identify strengths and weaknesses in early manuscripts, and with the full spectrum of editing services (proofreading, editing, complex copy editing, content editing, developmental editing) to follow.

In addition to independent editing gigs, she edits the self-published efforts that come to FriesenPress, for whom she has long worked as a freelance editor. These books span a tremendous range, from children’s stories through historical nonfiction and memoir.
